Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Mgahinga via Katuna Border
Your adventure begins with pick-up from your Kigali. Travel through Rwanda’s rolling hills and make a stop at the Kigali Genocide Memorial for a brief educational visit. Continue to the Cyanika, where your guide assists with smooth immigration into Uganda. Then drive through until you reach Mgahinga. Arrive in time for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge or enjoying a short cultural walk in the local community.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga National Park
After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Set off on your gorilla trekking adventure, which typically lasts 2–6 hours depending on the gorilla family’s location.
Once found, spend one magical hour observing the gorillas as they feed, play, and interact in their natural rainforest habitat, an unforgettable wildlife encounter.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking and Transfer Back to Kigali

After the trek, enjoy your packed lunch before beginning the scenic drive back to Kigali via the Katuna border, arriving in the evening to conclude your safari.
