Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – City Tour and Cultural Experience

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your elegant hotel in the heart of Kigali. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a guided Kigali City Tour, visiting key highlights such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Kimironko Market, and Inema Arts Center, where Rwanda’s creative energy shines through its vibrant art scene. Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park – Scenic Drive Along Lake Kivu

After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey southwest to Nyungwe Forest National Park, one of Africa’s oldest and most pristine rainforests. The drive offers breathtaking views of rolling hills, tea plantations, and the sparkling waters of Lake Kivu. Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walk in Nyungwe Forest

Day 4: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park – The Land of a Thousand Hills

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Today marks the highlight of your safari – mountain gorilla trekking. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your trek through the dense bamboo forests. Once you locate the gorilla family, spend a magical hour observing their behavior, taking photos, and marveling at the remarkable similarities they share with humans. After this once-in-a-lifetime experience, return to your lodge for a well-deserved massage, lunch, and relaxation.

Day 6: Golden Monkey Trekking and Transfer to Kigali for Departure

On your final morning, embark on a golden monkey trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park. After the trek, return to your lodge for brunch and then drive back to Kigali.
