Day 1: Arrival in Kigali & Genocide Memorial Visit – Transfer to Uganda (via Katuna Border)

After meeting your safari guide, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a deeply moving site that tells the story of resilience and unity in Rwanda. Later, drive northwest through scenic hills and cross into Uganda via the Katuna border post. Arrive at your lodge near Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, a serene setting surrounded by the Virunga volcanoes.

Day 2: Golden Monkey Trekking and Batwa Cultural Experience – Mgahinga

After breakfast, set off for an exciting golden monkey trekking adventure in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon Batwa cultural experience, where the forest’s original inhabitants share their music, dances, and stories.
