 Arrival and transfer to the hotel

On arrival our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay then brief you on the next day’s start of the 11 Days Rwanda- Uganda Holiday safari

 Day 1; Kigali City tour and transfer to volcanoes National Park

On arrival at Kigali International Airport, your guide will pick you and take you to City tour with a visit to Kigali Genocide memorial, local markets, Nyamata church, thereafter you will be driven to Volcanoes National park the home of mountain gorillas.

Check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at

 Day 2: 1st Gorilla tracking and community walk

On this day after early morning breakfast you will report to the park offices with parked lunch ready for gorilla tracking. You will then be allocated a gorilla family to visit, be briefed and then head to the park for your gorilla experience, tracking of the gentle giants may take few to full day so maximum fitness is needed to hike up and down as these gorillas are fond of being in high volcanic mountains, take drinking water and your tracking gears as recommended. Later when you return and depending on how fit you will be, you will visit the community for cultural entertainments to iby iwacu.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at

 Day 3: Golden monkey tracking and Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park

After an early morning breakfast, you will go to the park offices where you will be briefed before you go on with golden monkey tracking. These are endangered monkey species that are found within this region of Rwanda. When you return back, you will check out and cross the border as you transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is a home to almost a half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the world.

Proceed to the lodge and check in for your dinner and overnight stay

Day 4: 2nd Gorilla trekking and community walk

An early morning start of the fourth day of the Rwanda- Uganda Holiday safari, you will wake up have your breakfast and then report to the ranger station, together with your packed lunch and drinking water and in tracking attire for a briefing about gorilla trekking where you will be split into small groups of 8 people per gorilla family and then ascend to the forest for your gorilla adventure that will take a few hours to a full day.

Once you come across the gorillas, you will be allowed a maximum of 1 hour with these gentle giants as you take pictures then after return back to the lodge.

Depending on the time and how strong you will be, you can later go for community walk to meet and be entertained by the local people as you learn about their culture then have dinner overnight stay at your lodge

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park, Game drive in Ishasha Sector

After an early morning breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park for the Savannah experience, this is one of the largest conservation areas of Uganda with huge concentration animals than other parks of Uganda due to variety of animal habitats here you stand chances to see huge school of hippos, Herds of elephants, tree climbing lions, warthogs, African cape buffaloes waterbucks, leopards hyenas, Varvet monkeys, baboons and lots of bird species.

Therefore Ishasha which is southern part of this park is famous for tree climbing lion you will do game drive in search of them later proceed to the northern part where you will spend your night, you will then check in to your lodge for an overnight stay at

Day 6: Game drive and Afternoon Kazinga channel boat cruise

On this 6th day, take a cup of tea or coffee and go out for morning game drive to catch up with early raisers like lions leopards hyenas among others that will take you approximately 3 – 4 hours, later return to the lodge for a full breakfast and lunch break. After lunch you will be driven to the jetty for your afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel a natural water body that connects two rift valley lakes George and Edward found within the this park.

This will take a maximum of 2 hours thereafter return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at DAY 5

Day 7: Game drive and Transfer to Kibale National Park

After early breakfast, you will do another game drive in Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth national park, visit katwe explosion crater and salt lake thereafter transfer to Kibale National Park where you will stay in preparation of your chimp trek the next day.

Day 8: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi wetland nature walk in afternoon hours

The eighth morning of the Rwanda – Uganda Holiday safari after an early breakfast, report to the ranger station ready for chimp tracking experience in Kibale forest national park which is worlds primate haven with about 13 species of primates including chimpanzees, red colobus monkeys , red tailed potto, mangabeys and many more, you will then be briefed by ranger guide about do’s and don’ts while tracking the chimpanzees, on return have lunch break then later go for bigodi wetland sanctuary for nature walk where you have chance to see monkeys and birds that you might miss while tracking chimps thereafter head back to the lodge for overnight stay at DAY 7.

 Day 9: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

On this day after your breakfast, you will transfer to Murchison falls National Park, Uganda’s largest savannah park with variety of game such as Elephants, buffalos, giraffes, Jacksons, hartebeest warthogs, lions, leopards, jackals, hyenas, Oribi and Uganda kobs, this day, you will enjoy passing through different villages, beautiful sceneries of the country side lunch on the way and then proceed to the lodge for your overnight stay at

 Day 10: Full day in Murchison falls, game drive and boat cruse in afternoon

A relatively early start after breakfast, head for morning game drive in search of Savannah animals such as Elephants giraffes, Buffaloes, waterbucks, hartebeest, oribi, lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, warthogs, Uganda kobs and birds species. On return, have lunch break and later go for afternoon boat ride up stream to the bottom of the falls where you will you expect to see schools of hippos Nile crocodiles, Nile monitor lizards as well as Elephants and waterbucks coming to drink.

After the boat ride, return to your lodge for overnight stay at DAY 9.

 Day 11: Transfer to Kampala /Entebbe

On this last day of the Rwanda Uganda Safari Holiday, you will wake up and have your breakfast, then drive and visit the top of Murchison falls, later proceed to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will track the Rhino for approximately an hour then have lunch before continuing to Kampala the capital city of Uganda as you mark the end of your trip, you will be taken to your desired place of stay or to the Airport for your departure flight back home.
