Day 1: Pick-up in Kigali and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
Depending on your location in Kigali, you will be picked up by our company representative/guide who will then transfer to Bwindi national park. The park is located in the south western part of the country, close to Rwanda-Uganda border. It’s a 4 hours’ drive with en route lunch. On arrival to the park, you will proceed and check in your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at Ichumbi Gorilla lodge for mid-range or budget/Nkuringo Gorilla lodge for luxury
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking experience.
Have breakfast and transfer you to park offices for briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by a local guide. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at very close range. You will observe adults feeding and groaning among themselves. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting for you.
Have lunch then proceed to cross back to Rwanda. Proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Virunga lodge for luxury/Le Bambou Gorilla lodge for mid-range/Hotel Muhabura
Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking and return to Kigali
After breakfast, drive to the park head offices and then have a briefing about the golden monkeys and thereafter enter into the park taking the golden monkey tracking trail and on this experience other primates, birds, butterflies will be spotted.
After spending time with the golden monkeys have lunch and after embark on your journey back to Kigali to either your hotel or airport for your return flight with memories of a 3 days Rwanda Gorilla trekking safari. End of 3 Days safari.
