Your safari begins with a domestic flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kisoro, located in southwestern Uganda near the borders with Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. This short flight takes 1 hour and 45 minutes and it saves you hours of road travel and provides aerial views of Uganda’s rolling hills, lakes, and volcanoes.
Upon landing, your guide will pick you up and transfer you to your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The afternoon is at leisure to relax and prepare for the exciting trek ahead.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. You’ll then set off with experienced rangers into the forest to track a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek may take 2–6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movement, but the hour spent in their presence is a life-changing experience — observing their social behavior, intelligence, and family bonds.
After the trek and lunch, immerse yourself in the culture of the Batwa pygmies, the forest’s original inhabitants. Learn about their traditional hunting and survival skills, songs, and ancient way of life through guided storytelling and demonstrations.

Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today you’ll enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful Kigezi Highlands toward Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most diverse protected area. En route, pass tea plantations, crater lakes, and panoramic views of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Time permitting, you may enjoy a brief evening game drive as you arrive in the park.

Day 4: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Start your morning with a game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, well-known for lion sightings and large herds of Uganda kob, buffalo, elephants, and various antelope species. With luck, you may also spot hyenas and leopards.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a highlight of the park. Cruise alongside hippos, crocodiles, and elephants, with excellent birdwatching perfect for photographers and nature lovers alike.

Day 5: Fly from Kasese to Entebbe
After breakfast, Your driver guide will drive you to Kasese airstrip For your flight from Kasese near Queen Elizabeth National Park to Entebbe. Which is approximately 1 hour. And on arrival you will be picked up by your driver guide. Arrive in the afternoon at you lodge for relaxation.

Day 6: Mabamba Swamp Shoebill Excursion and Return to Kampala
Today you’ll take an early morning excursion to Mabamba Swamp, one of the best places in East Africa to spot the rare shoebill stork, a prehistoric-looking bird that is highly sought after by birders. Glide through the swamp in a traditional canoe, guided by local bird experts.
Return to Kampala in the afternoon and enjoy a relaxed evening at your hotel.

Day 7: Kampala City Tour and Departure
