Kazinga Channel View Resort

Positioned in Katunguru on the mainland, the Kazinga Channel View Resort overlooks the Kazinga Channel. The resort offers a variety of rooms, including single, double, twin, and bandas. All cottages are self-contained. The resort features a restaurant, bar, camping ground, and reception area to provide tourists with the best experience during their safari in the park.

Simba Safari Camp

Simba Safari Camp offers an impressive view of Lake George, the rolling savannah, and Lake Kikorongo. Accommodation includes 70 beds arranged as family cottages, twin rooms, and dormitories. The rooms are self-contained, with flush toilets, running water, mosquito nets, private verandas, and solar-heated warm water. The family cottages have two bedrooms, a living room with an extra bed, and a spacious veranda, accommodating up to five people. Dormitory rooms include three, five, and ten double-deckers, each with mosquito nets and shared washrooms with flush toilets. The campsite features a restaurant, bar, lodge, TV with DSTV, and Wi-Fi in public areas.

Pumba Safari Cottages

Located in Kyambura on the eastern boundary of the park, Pumba Safari Cottages face the rolling savannah, the rift valley, and the Rwenzori Mountains. Built from local materials, the cottages blend perfectly with the ecosystem. The accommodation includes three cottages, each with two cozy beds, an en suite bathroom, and a shower. Solar water heaters provide warm water. Pumba Safari Cottages also feature a restaurant, a reception area, and Wi-Fi connection, with a bar section offering magical views of the surrounding savannah.

Mweya Hostels and Camp

Located on the Mweya Peninsula, Mweya Hostels, formerly known as the Mweya Institute of Ecology, are close to the lush Mweya Safari Lodge. Guests can visit the lodge to utilize its facilities, including the swimming pool overlooking the Kazinga Channel. Accommodation at the hostel includes non-self-contained single and double rooms. Mweya Hostel has a kitchen, living room, restaurant, and canteen.

Bush Lodge offers non-self-contained tents and self-contained units. The 10 non-self-contained tents are equipped with cozy beds, power outlets, and bedside tables, placed under a grass-thatched roof with a private terrace. The two self-contained tents are suitable for families, as an extra tent can be added on a neighboring platform. Twelve self-contained units, built on wooden platforms, feature huge mosquito-netted windows for a 180-degree park view, eco-toilets, and outside showers with double shower heads. Bush Lodge also includes a restaurant, bar, campfire ground, and adequate parking.

Marafiki Safari Lodge

Located on the boundary of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Marafiki Safari Lodge overlooks the Rwenzori Mountains and Lake George. Designed with local materials, the lodge includes four cabins accommodating 16 people and three luxury safari tents. Rooms are self-contained with open-air showers. The lodge also features a campfire ground, restaurant, and bar.

Enganzi Game Lodge

Built using local materials, Enganzi Game Lodge sits on the Kichwamba Escarpment, blending with the surrounding ecosystems and offering views of the Albertine Rift and the Rwenzori Mountains. The lodge provides five cottages with single, twin, and double beds, and space for a third bed. The main building houses a restaurant, bar, and Wi-Fi in public areas.

Located on the eastern extension of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kyambura Game Lodge overlooks the savannah and the Rwenzori Mountains. The lodge uses eco-friendly materials and offers spacious, self-contained grass-thatched canvas rooms with bathtubs, showers, hot and cold running water, 220V electricity, and wooden balconies. Facilities include a swimming pool, campfire ground, restaurant, bar, modern kitchen, and traditional evening performances by the Banyaruguru tribe.

Kyambura Gorge Lodge

Situated on the eastern side of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kyambura Gorge Lodge was initially a coffee processing plant. It provides an ideal base for chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge. The lodge offers eight private bandas (three doubles and five twins) with en suite bathrooms, hot and cold running water, mosquito nets, 240V lighting, and private balconies named after the Kyambura chimpanzees. The lodge also features Wi-Fi, a restaurant, and a bar.
