Your journey begins with a pick-up from the airport or your hotel in Kigali. Enjoy a city tour, including a visit to the Kigali genocide memorial, before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Southwestern Uganda. En route, marvel at the breathtaking scenery and terraced farming landscapes. Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half of the world’s endangered mountain gorilla population. Dinner and overnight stay at Rushaga Gorilla Camp (Mid-range lodge). Meal plan: Lunch & dinner.
Start your day with an early morning cup of coffee, followed by a briefing from Uganda wildlife officials. Venture into the jungle to track the elusive mountain gorillas and observe their fascinating lifestyle in their natural habitat.
