

A picture of the late of Buganda Kingdom Kabaka Daudi Chwa born 8 Aug,1886 and died 22 November,1939 is seen inside the Buganda Royal Tombs locally known as the (Masiro) are seen on the outskirts of Ugandas Capital, Kampala 28th August,2008. On the night of March 16th 2010 , flames engulfed the the tombs built in 1882 as a burial ground for their Kings. The tombs are a World Heritage site, and according to Unesco, the United Nations agency that bestows the recognition, they are a masterpiece of human creativity and the most active religious place in the kingdom. Riots erupted at venerated burial grounds in that night leaving three Protesters. The newly appointed Prime Minister (Katikiro) of Buganda Kingdom Charles Peter Mayiga has pledged to see that the restoration of the Kasubi Royal Tombs is affected.
